Hey,
I'm Abigail.
Photography has been a passion of mine for about 8 years, ever since my littlest brother was born. I've always been the type of person to take a picture of any moment I could. At one point during my freshman year of college, one of my friends parents commented on a picture I had posted saying "If it weren't for the pictures you share, we wouldn't know what our kid was up to." I like to freeze moments in time, that way they can be looked back on forever. Every day is special and capturing those moments that make YOUR life special is what brings me so much joy. I think it's important to capture everyday moments that seem so simple as well as those big life changing moments too. My ultimate goal is to not only deliver images that you'll love for years to come, but to have as much fun in our session as possible. Getting your pictures done doesn't have to be some mundane task to just do and be done with. I like to involve movement and fun prompts in my sessions that help you relax and feel as comfortable as possible.
Get to Know Me
One of my favorite things to do before a session is to send out a questionnaire that helps me get to know you a little better and prepare for the session! I love that I get to know a little more about you before we meet, but often times you don't really get to know me, so here are some fun things to know about me!
- I am a huge Disney fan! If I could go to Disney World every day, I think that would make me the happiest girl in the most magical place on Earth.
- I am a certified Elementary Teacher without my own classroom! I currently am a substitute teacher when I'm not behind my camera or computer!
- I love to read! At the moment I am loving romance and fantasy books but I also like to read some thriller novels here and there!
- I am married to my best friend, we have known each other since we were five and have been married for almost five years!
- We have a red heeler puppy named Scout!
- I am obsessed with New Girl, Star Wars and all things Marvel.
- I am an enneagram two, so I am very empathetic and love to help others!
- We just welcomed our first child in June! He is the sweetest little boy and we love watching him grow!
